Our cleaning professionals are trained, bonded and insured. Our residential housekeepers respect customers by never eating, drinking, smoking or using appliances during home cleanings. And each our employee takes pride in their work, receiving regularly updated training and supervision to ensure quality maid service.

How do I book a cleaning appointment?

You can go to "Contact Us" page. Fill out the form and you'll then be able to schedule your cleaning appointment online in less than a minute. We'll contact you as soon as possible with confirmation of the appointment.

How do I pay for residential cleaning services?

When booking your cleaning appointment with us for the very first time, you will be asked to provide us with your credit card information so that we can keep it on file. You will then be charged after your cleaning has been completed or you can pay by cash. From the second service we will be able to accept your personal checks as well. Payments are due the day of your scheduled home cleaning service. Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a check, made payable to Pleasant Home, however we also accept credit cards.


What is your satisfaction guarantee?

If you are not completely satisfied with the cleaning that we've provided you, we'll send a supervisor to inspect the property and help to quickly evaluate the propblem so we can back the cleaning crew to redo the property for you free of charge.


Do your cleaners bring their own supplies?

Yes, all our cleaners come prepared with all the necessary supplies and equipment. You may also specify if you plan on providing any special supplies or vacuum and would like our cleaners to use them.


We do not take any responsibility and we are not liable for any damage caused through use of products or equipment provided by customers.


Can you come clean when I'm not home?

We sure can! During the booking process, you may specify instructions pertaining to where you will be leaving the key, where you want it to be returned, and other special instructions.


Are you pet friendly?

Yes, we love pets!


Do you clean on weekends?

We can do cleanings 6 days of the week.


What should I do before a home cleaning service?

To make our house cleaning services more efficient, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items prior to a visit from our housekeeping teams.


What time do the cleaning personnel arrive?

We can't guarantee an exact time residential housekeepers will arrive because each home gets the attention it deserves. However, we do offer arrival time windows and preferences with our "on time arrival" software. Our normal business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM. In participating areas, Saturday and/or same day appointments may be available. Contact us today to choose a time that works best for you.


What if my maid service missed a spot?

Our maid services offer consistent, quality home cleaning. Like in any relationship, however, miscommunications occur and we may make a mistake. That's why we offer a house cleaning service guarantee, which means if you notify our office within 24 hours, our house cleaning staff will correct their mistake at no charge. 


Am I liable for workers' compensation, insurance or employment taxes?

Pleasant Home offers is a simple, worry-free home cleaning service solution. That means we take care of personal liability with regard to work-related injury and social security taxes. Some independent maid services may not, which makes homeowners liable. With Pleasant Home we are fully insured and licensed for your protection and ours.


What does Pleasant Home NOT clean?

Professional cleaning services from our company are designed to help keep your home fresh, clean and comfortable. So we customize our house cleaning services to fit your home's unique needs and budget. To provide this level of exceptional service to all our valued customers there are some areas and items in your home that Pleasant Home does not clean.


Our services typically does not include...

Wash dishes

Do laundry or clean your iron

Pick up or remove clutter

Clean inside of fireplaces

Clean toys


Additional services such as cleaning the inside of your refrigerator, stove, and/or cabinets are available by request. Contact our office to discuss your home cleaning needs and customize your services.


Do I provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

No. Every cleaning personnel come to your home fully equipped to clean with top-quality products and commercial vacuums. However, because Pleasant Home is flexible, if requested and provided, we may clean with your preferred products depending on the chemicals.


What happens if I need to reschedule my maid service?

We always work with you. We typically recommend calling 72-hours before your regularly scheduled home cleaning with a more convenient cleaning time. Contact our office for specific guidelines regarding rescheduling/cancellations. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs. 


What if my home cleaning falls on a holiday?

We call to reschedule for a more convenient time when house cleanings fall on holidays. We will also remind you about additional maid services in which you may have expressed an interest. Perhaps that means an additional clean prior to a big holiday party. If you've scheduled that extra holiday cleaning service, canceling or rescheduling requires notice. 


Do Pleasant Home offer carpet cleaning?

No, we do not offer carpet cleaning service.


Do Pleasant Home offer window washing?

Yes, we do offer window washing services for property up to second floor. Contact your office to inquire about window washing services.


Housekeeping Aggravation: Floors still dirty after mopping!?

We recommend to scrub the floor at leat twice a year so the pourrus surface of the floor can be thoroughly cleaned and dried. This prevent the dirt accumulation so you can enjoy a perfectly clean floor after regular mopping for the next 5-6 months.


What if something is damaged during a home cleaning?

We treat you and your home with complete respect. If something does unexpectedly break, we do our best to either repair or replace that item. Residential maids are fully insured, so claims are filed when appropriate. Please file a claim with support providing proof. All claims must be filed within 24 hours of the appointment in order to be eligible for reimbursement.

How soon can I take cleaning off my chore list and schedule an appointment?

How many hours should I choose?

Hours are listed in labor-hours, meaning that a four-hour appointment could either be one pro working for four hours or two pros working for two hours. Our suggested cleaning time is based on information we gathered from our providers using the number of bedrooms and bathrooms to estimate the total size of the home. We give a recommendation based on your inputs but you should choose the number of hours you believe best suits your needs.


How will the house cleaner know my priorities?

If it's your first time booking an appointment with the house cleaner, be sure to review the scope of work outlined on this page before your appointment so you know what's included in a typical cleaning. Plan to be available to review your cleaning preferences and priorities when your pro arrives. This will help ensure your pro spends their time cleaning the parts of your home that matter most to you. Any special requests should be discussed before the service appointment begins, as some requests are not included in a standard cleaning and may result in an updated service price.


How much does it cost to have my home cleaned?

We work with every home owner to create a custom cleaning plan designed on frequency, preferences and your budget. How long will the Deep Cleaning or Spring Cleaning take?

The time involved is working hours, which means 4 hours can be covered by 2 people working together for 2 hours, or 1 person for 4 hours. 

A deep cleaning typically takes twice as long as a normal cleaning. Studio and 1-bedroom apartments usually require 4-5 hours. Houses and apartments with 2 bedrooms typically need 5-6 working hours, homes with 3 bedrooms typically require approximately 6-7 hours, and homes with 4 bedrooms typically require approximately 7-8 hours.
